Reception and open hours: The hostel is open year around. The reception is open 4 pm-11 pm (check-in time) and 7 am-10 am (check-out time). We speak Finnish, Swedish and English. We can also provide tourist information if needed (Porvoo brochures available). NOTE: The hostel is closed 10 am-4 pm.
Bed linen/sheets: The room rates include bed linens. Sleeping bags are not allowed.
Breakfast: Breakfast is not included. You can make your own breakfast in the self-service kitchen or buy breakfast in the cafeteria Kahvila Toffe’s at the swimming hall next to the hostel for 8,50 € / pers.
Self-service kitchen: The kitchen is equipped with dishes, cutlery, hot plates, fridge, microwave oven, toaster and coffee machine. Pots, pans, dishes, and utensils are available in the kitchen. We kindly ask you to clean them after cooking.
Showers and bathrooms: There are separate showers and washroom facilities for men and women. Shower rooms have mirrors and a hair dryer can be borrowed at the reception.
WiFi: A wireless internet connection (WLAN/Wi-Fi) is available for hostel customers free of charge. The WLAN covers the entire hostel, so you can surf as much as you want anywhere in the hostel. You can obtain the password from the reception desk.
Parking: You can park your car/motor bike free on the hostel grounds or at the large parking area next to the hostel (Joonaksentie Street). Bicycles can be stored in our garage.
Pets: Pets are allowed but please inform us about the number and size of the pets when booking the room. Please remember pets must not cause any disturbance and dogs must not be left alone in the room. The customer is responsible for any damages.
Smoking: Note that the hostel is a non-smoking area but it’s ok to smoke on the hostel grounds.
Wheel chairs: Note that the hostel is located in a historical building which means some areas are not wheelchair accessible.
